Annabeth turned to look at the mechanic, who was still standing at the door with a wary look on his face. “I’m here to invite you to a dinner.” She bluntly said, watching his wary expression morph into a surprised one, but she continued on. “You didn’t get stuck in any pipes. There aren’t any here. What were you doing?”

He sniffled, “I can’t make it to dinner.” He said quietly.
