Midoriya Izuku is medically quirkless, not technically homeless, perpetually exhausted and doing his damned best despite it all. He also sees spirits, which might be cool if not for the fact that a) no one else does, b) they really don't like him very much, and c) he's pretty sure the heroes now think he's a villain working for the League.
Aizawa Shota just wants to take down Overhaul, rescue Eri, keep his students alive, get some rest, and find out how this Deku kid knows things he absolutely should not know about his personal life and the Shie Hassaikai case.
Unless Nighteye's right, and the kid really is a villain.

Summary
The only dream Izuku has ever had was to be a hero, but he can't even save himself from the pains of living as quirkless child in a world that only wants to see him gone. Izuku decides to give them what they want in more ways than one. He wakes up to find he has a cat quirk that gives him all the abilities as a cat (but better), but there's something else.
Cats have nine lives...and apparently so does he.
Izuku decides to leave that life behind and find his freedom to become the hero he wanted to be and wanted for himself. If this means begging for food as a stray from old ladies and becoming a mysterious vigilante then so be it. He'll need to train his new quirk after all. Despite thinking no one would care about him, Izuku meets Shouta Aizawa. A man who loves cats and a hero who wants to find peace for a kid he's never met before.

Izuku now knows without a doubt that he was always meant to be a hero. Perhaps he can make the world a better place where everyone is treated equally and he can save people before they fall out of the cage before their wings are ready to fly.
