   Summary

   Ethan--a capable, young(ish) man--knew himself. He knew his quirks, his faults, his abilities. Knew his daughter too, her smile, the shape her face made when she was hungry, or angry, or sleepy.

   He no longer knew Mia.

   And for his safety, as well as his daughter's, leaving her was his only option. But there was no running away from his past, only embracing it or die trying. No matter what, he was always destined to end up in The Village of Shadows.
