    “Did El send you ?” Nancy fell silent, and Mike rolled his eyes, apparently confirming his thoughts. “Don’t be mad at her, I asked her to tell me.”
    Mike turned towards her, frowning, as if Nancy said something blasphemous, as if the sole idea of Mike being angry at El of all people was revolting to him.

    “I’m not mad at her.” He said, stressing on the “her”.

    “But you’re mad.”

    “What makes you say that ?”

    Nancy's relationship with Mike has been crumbling for a long time. She finally notices.
