Max had leaned over him, hand sinking into the damp curls at the base of his neck, brushing them away just to watch him flinch at the sensitivity. Charles was burning up. Sweaty. Red-cheeked. Beautiful in that wrecked, fucked-out kind of way that made Max hard all over again just looking at him.
"Whenever I want," Max murmured, soft but cocky, voice thick with satisfaction. His thumb dragged across Charles’s cheekbone. A claiming touch, "That’s what you said, right?"
And Charles had nodded. Just once. Quiet. But it was all Max needed.
