Eager for power, he activates it—only for the scroll to summon not one, but two versions of his future self: his 17 and 32-year-old counterparts that, to his dismay, want the opposite.
(Or, how Old Man Sasuke changes the plot by being an awkward dad, Teenage Sasuke coping with his horrifying trauma, and Kid Sasuke realizing that he's more thankful for his friends than he ever wanted to be.)
