Jeng prides himself on being a pretty positive guy. A fair and attentive doctor to his patients and colleagues, a supportive friend and nice guy to strangers. So the fact that even the smallest glimpse of Karn in the canteen or across the parking lot is enough to turn Jeng into a scowling, grumbling mess makes his dislike for Karn even stronger.

Or if it’s the layer of stubble coating the man’s jawline that looks like it would sting just the right amount. Or if it’s the nice smile on the bloke’s face that makes these cute dimples form on his cheeks. Whatever it is, it throws Ben entirely off kilter for a good few seconds.

“Rest a bit. Move back to Wales. Spend time with my family. Be with you, without all the complicated…” Colin’s voice trails off while he vaguely gestures in the air, “You know. Go on vacation, I don’t know.”
“That sounds nice.”
“What about you, would you ever move out of London?” For a second, Michael tenses against Colin. He shrugs. Colin adds: “Would you want to move to Wales with me?”
He does not answer Colin’s question, really, but says: “Wales sounds nice.”---
