Aventurine threw his head back and laughed. "The great Veritas Ratio influenced to commit sins of the flesh by mere mortals?" He relished in Ratio's embarrassment. "How the mighty have fallen."
Ratio scoffed, as the flush on his cheeks deepened. "I am simply indulging in a few drinks, nothing more. I was unable to find you in this damned maze of a house, so I decided to stay here in hopes that you would find me. In truth, it was you who influenced me into this particular sin of the flesh."
Aventurine's laughter faded into giggles interspersed with deep breaths. "You were looking for me?" he asked. He meant it to be teasing, but it came out too honest.
"Always," Ratio answered, like it was obvious.

There is a catcake sitting on the coffee table in Aventurine's apartment, though not an unusual sight with how the man currently has three of them in his care, this particular catcake is new, significantly smaller… and oddly familiar. Its shell is in that familiar teal the gambler is fond of; its body in the shade of white and yellow like the colour of his hair. Moreover, on its face dons a pair of pink shades identical to the one the stoneheart favours.
The catcake stretches upwards in greeting; its tail, adorned with the matching watch to Aventurine's pair, wagging in delight upon Ratio's entrance into the living room. It hops down from the low table and bounds itself to the doctor, circling around his legs, its little paws digging into his pants as it meows for his attention.

He is overheating - the feeling is almost fever-strong as arousal courses through him, zipping through his veins, setting his skin alight with sensation.
