Summary
The beginning of the year had started out simply. It was his third year at university and Yoongi, had finally gotten a grasp on his major, found a group of friends that he didn’t hate, and was able to land a part time job that he loved; being a dj for the campus radio station.
His first two years had been rough, as Yoongi had some trouble adjusting to life in the States. He’d spent much of those years with a feeling of isolation and like no one would understand him - because of the language barrier and because of the complexity of his interests. He missed his family and his friends, he missed the food of his home country, and hated the way people spoke to him slowly like he was an idiot.
Yoongi was not an idiot. He was an engineering major, minoring in theoretical physics. And on top of the weight of his course load, he found time to write and produce music for himself and his friends. And this year, all of the parts of his life started to gel.
