Summary
Luka is no stranger to the royal household, having served as a palace secretary for years. However, when he unexpectedly meets the king for the first time, they see each other in a whole new light. Maintaining his distance proves difficult as Luka feigns ignorance and denies the king's advances— a defiance that only captivates Sergio more. Over time, Luka unknowingly begins to grow fond of Sergio. But while the two are distracted by one another, a silent threat grows in the shadows, and the throne hangs in the balance.
