sleep deprived, anxious, scared, and physically worn, sonic just wants to be understood, empathized with. unfortunately the one hedgehog who gets him has been out out his sight the whole week they’ve been back home. he doesn’t think he can face himself or his feelings and memories alone. frankly, he refuses to pick up the pieces. some hero he was.
with the starry sky resting its infinite weight on his shoulders, sonic decides to do the cowardly thing: run.
