Summary
ᅠCold autumn mornings, cinnamon on your fingertips, Ellie’s arms around your waist, and an apple pie forgotten in the oven because she decided kissing you was far more important.
ᅠSometimes, happiness is nothing more than a day off, a warm kitchen, and the person who feels like home.

Summary
“Time does not erase what is written. It teaches us to read between the lines.”
Five years. Her name faded into memory, her face remained in a military file, and her fate became a mystery.
She was declared missing in action. A story with no ending.
Until she returned.
Three stages of rehabilitation. Evaluations. Finally, clearance to serve again.
She spoke dozens of languages, recognized subtle accents, and understood what remained incomprehensible to others. Yet none held the words to explain five years of silence.
“What happened to you?”
Her return was meant to be a new beginning. But the past takes no orders, and those who once knew her must rediscover who she has become.
For the human soul, too, is a palimpsest. Beneath every new line, traces of the old remain. And some stories can never be entirely erased.
