    Summary

Till is an aspiring musician who frequently plays at small venues. One night, Ivan spots him from the crowd and later becomes increasingly fascinated with the other.

Ivan watched as quiet words were exchanged. A hollowed soda can was set on the small stage before the punk picked up his guitar and approached the microphone.
The microphone emitted a loud screech of feedback, silencing the low hum of the crowd as they all turned to look for the source of the noise. Ivan visibly winced at the piercing echo made by the previously ignored musician. Till looked away briefly towards the floor before focusing on the crowd and grinned with feigned confidence.
The figure returned to the microphone and clasped his free hand around it.

    Summary

ivan breaks his phone. when did his ex work here?

“Just a new phone.” A pause. “I broke my old one.”
Till let out a small laugh, his eyes lighting up while his face crinkled. “You? Really? Damn, I never thought I’d live to see the day where you of all people break a phone.”
Ivan nodded, the confession sheepish. He wondered how Till could be acting so normal now—after everything? He doesn’t seem like he’s hurting. He looks like a contented person. Ivan felt a sharp pang of envy at Till’s smile.
