Summary
Hanahaki disease is a fictional disease that occurs when someone experiences unrequited love: The victim coughs up or vomits flower petals from a plant growing in their lungs. The plant can eventually grow large enough to make breathing difficult. The disease only ends if the other person falls in love with the victim or the victim dies. There is only one other cure that involves a surgery.
