Summary
After the war, Draco had promised himself that he would make amends to the people that he wronged. This was why Draco approached Potter and tried asking for his forgiveness for his past wrongdoings.
Potter, with his bright green eyes and hardened expression, just said, “I don’t care.” He tossed Draco’s wand back to him. “I want nothing to do with you anymore. I hope that we’ll never meet again,” he said and left.
Draco could feel the cold creeping into his magic as he felt his soul snapped. This means that a) he’s an omega and will present as one in the future; b) Harry Potter, the boy he’d been in love with since he was eleven was his soulmate; c) said soulmate also unintentionally rejected the bond so swiftly that while Potter might not feeling the broken bond—since he was an alpha—Draco as the omega would be the one facing the repercussions.
Fuck, Draco was going to die from a rejected bond.

Summary
The night before the inaugural launch of the Hexgates, Hextech that Jayce and Viktor have been working on for over a year, neither Jayce or Viktor can sleep. Eventually, Jayce gives up on it and goes to the Hexgates to run over the calculations one last time to ensure they are ready for the demonstration later that day.
Viktor is there, and the Hexgate is powered up and ready to activate. Jayce realizes too late that Viktor is intentionally standing in the transportation window and he has only enough time to shout Viktor's name before Viktor activates it and the Hexgate is powering it up.
An instant later, Viktor is gone.
