Summary
A psychological thriller of madness, manipulation, and the slow unraveling of truth.
When a well-known, beloved family is found slaughtered in their home, the only suspect is a 27-year-old man discovered at the scene, blood-soaked, shaking, and whispering things no one could understand. Park Seonghwa is quickly declared unstable and confined to a secure psychiatric facility for observation. He claims he didn’t kill anyone. But his stories, fractured, poetic, delusional, make little sense to anyone who hears them.
Except one man.
Enter Kim Hongjoong, a calm, intelligent forensic psychiatrist consultant assigned to the case. At first, he appears gentle. Professional. Curious. He tells Seonghwa he believes him, when no one else does. He listens patiently as Seonghwa speaks of shadows that don’t move right, voices that steal his name, and the thing inside the walls that wore someone else’s face.
As trust deepens and Seonghwa begins to open up, the lines between truth and madness begin to blur. Because in a place built to cage the broken, sometimes the most dangerous person isn’t the one on the other side of the glass. It’s the one holding the key.

Summary
Wooyoung's eyes stung as they shuttered open. A hot white light filtered in first, burning his pupils.
Was this heaven? Was it supposed to hurt this badly? He took a moment to assess his condition: limbs in tact, definitely not dead, and holy shit—who the hell was that guy with his hand pressed to his chest?
“No need to thank me,” the man grumbled. His voice was deep and gritty, laced with what Wooyoung immediately recognized as a heavy dose of annoyance. “Don’t look for me after this, got it? I was never here.”
(Alternatively: After waking up from a fatal fall, Wooyoung develops the strange ability to freeze time and the inability to die, and a mysterious man might have something to do with it)

Summary
Wooyoung peeked out of the doorway, clammy fingers and palms no doubt leaving imprints on the wood. The voices, distorted and unclear, belonging to many, were tingling in the back of his mind now.
When he peered down the hall, he saw San standing shirtless before the red obelisk, body tense in the flashing lightning crashes. He looked to be breathing heavily, muttering beneath his breath amidst the whispers that grew louder in Wooyoung’s skull.
Wooyoung watched in horror as San twitched, then sighed as long appendages emerged from his back.
Wooyoung gasped.
