Summary
There are a number of instances over the years when Yongsun has felt mortified by her own actions. However, it’s hard to beat the day she nonchalantly walked into the waiting room wearing her ex-girlfriend’s hoodie as though it were her own.
That’s how, thirteen days after Byulyi walked out of her apartment and ended their relationship, Yongsun ends up in front of her wardrobe, determined to separate their things so such incidents don’t happen again. However, as the hours pass and the pile of clothes around her only grows, she begins to wonder how much of her life, since they met, was solely her own to begin with.

For a long while, there was nothing between them. Byulyi kicked a pebble that bounced off the curb of the sidewalk. Then, she spoke again, because there was nothing left for her to lose. “I’m sorry for scaring you, turning up like this. I just knew that if I didn’t start driving, I wasn’t gonna see you again. And I didn’t want that. That’s all.”
