Había una serie de reglas en el pit. Carlos solía diferenciarlas en tres colores, exactamente como si fuera un semáforo. Uno normal, no uno de Fórmula 1.
1. Verdes: lo permitido.
2. Amarillas: aquello que estaba mal visto, pero podías hacerlo.
3. Rojas: completamente prohibidas.Oscar le pilla saltándose una de las rojas haciendo que sus caminos choquen incluso fuera de la pista. Haciendo que quiera que Carlos rompa las reglas con él.

George only let him stay, maybe because the quiet company felt healing in some sort of way. He hadn't even planned ahead whether they were going to talk about this new routine or anything until New Year's Eve, where they had sat together drinking red wine peacefully to celebrate another year. “Yeah, you made a promise to me when we got married to put me and my needs first,” Lando retorted, gritting his teeth as he spoke. He knew he sounded like a baby. He didn’t care. He didn’t know whether he wanted to strangle or hug the person who’d fitted Carlos in this suit.
Carlos laughed incredulously, looking at Lando over his shoulder. He reached for his wallet, sitting on top of their hotel room dresser. “Lando, I promise, when I’m back, we can do whatever you want.”
Lando watched him slip his keys into his pocket and started panicking.

Oscar placed his drink back onto the table and shrugged, unwilling to give the alpha the satisfaction of knowing he had followed his career. "I’ve heard of you." He bit his lip and decided to take a jab at the cocky alpha. If his ego were to inflate any more he’d fly past the stratosphere. "Little over confident coming into turn 17 in Miami though. You totally missed the braking point and ruined the race for Perez."
Oscar was almost disappointed Carlos did not take the bait, instead he chuckled, a deep, resonant sound. "Well, Oscar Piastri, you look like you belong here more than you let on."
