Summary
"Oh, fuck--" is all the time Tetsurou has to say before the crow nose-dives him. Later, he might be embarrassed by the shriek that escapes him as he dives for cover beneath his dining room table. Right now, all he's concerned about is making sure his eyes aren't plucked out by the angry bird that has decided his living room was lacking in wild animals.
But there is no attack. Nothing bad happens to him. Slowly, Kuroo peeks through his fingers.
The crow stares back at him, unamused. It juts out a leg where it's perched on one of his dining room chairs at eye level. There's a rolled-up note attached to its ankle, tied with a cute little bow.
This is not how Tetsurou saw his evening going.

Summary
The uncharacteristic seriousness on Bokuto’s face is startling. There’s a blaze of intensity that hadn’t been there before, and Kei almost wants to rip his eyes away, intimidated by the sight. But then Koutarou speaks, and his heart jumps in his chest.
“You think you aren’t small, sweetheart?”
The hand leaves his face, and yet even then, Tsukishima feels like he can’t rip his gaze away from their reflections as Bokuto’s hands drag up from his hips. They settle on his waist, squeezing, his fingers firm. Kei watches, breath caught, as he stretches his fingers until they’re brushing each other on his navel. Bokuto’s nose buries against his neck, and against the small of his back, Tsukishima can feel his thumbs digging into his skin.
“You’re so little, baby,” Koutarou breathes against his nape. “Look at that. Your waist is so tiny that my fingers touch all the way around. Isn’t that crazy?”
-
If there's one thing Tsukishima wants, it's to feel small. It's an impossible ask and he knows it; he's never been in a relationship where he's been shorter than his partner. It will never happen, and he's fine with that.
Or so he thinks.

Summary
“Do you have a date yet?” his sister asks three weeks before Kuroo Tetsurou makes the stupidest, most impulsive decision he’s ever made in his entire life.
In other words: Kuroo needs a date to his sister's wedding to appease his family. Tsukishima needs to re-evaluate every life choice he's ever made that's led up to this moment. Somehow, they might just make it to the end of the month.

Summary
Kei turns his nose up at him, saying primly, “So?”
“I mean— It’s very pretty,” Kuroo says, floundering. “But Christmas is next month. You’re early.”
Tsukishima scowls. “Oh, I’m sorry,” he says. “I didn’t know you were the Christmas police. Are you going to arrest me?”
-
It's their first Christmas living together, and Bokuto and Kuroo come home to a surprise.

Summary
Half-shrouded by drifting fronds, but unmistakably present. His torso was sleek and bare, dotted in distinct markings, arms long and fluid at his sides.
But it was the tail that truly struck Kei.
Thicker than the trunks of the kelp that surrounded them, patterned like barnacles across stone, slick and oily. It coiled lazily beneath him and stretched into the gloom—easily twice the length of his torso, maybe more.
A moray eel mer. A massive one.
They always told Kei to stay away from the kelp forest.

Summary
Before he met Kuroo and Bokuto, Tsukishima didn’t think he’d ever fall in love again. He couldn’t have known he’d fall for two people at the same time and he certainly couldn’t have predicted that the two he’d fall for would already have each other.
OR “Both of them,” Tsukishima repeats. He hadn't realized that he could want- that he could actually have- oh. It suddenly occurs to him that he’s been an idiot.

Summary
Kuroo didn’t know much in this life, but he knew survival. He knew what killed a man. More often than carelessness, it was kindness.
That was the first cruel lesson this hellscape had taught him: look out for yourself, and your own. Never stick your neck out for a stranger. Never stop to offer directions. Never share resources. Never tell the truth.
To live honestly and righteously, was to perish foolishly.
I don’t know why I saved him. I should’ve just let him die.
The world has long ended, yet Kuroo endures. For atonement of a past sin, and for Tsukishima Kei.Series

Summary
Osamu’s last month in Hyogo sure would be a lot less complicated if he could stop thinking about the time Suna Rintarou got caught with another boy’s hand down his pants in the library.

Summary
It’s not August 7th in particular that sucks so much, Tsukishima explains, bored and dispassionate with his arms crossed over his chest as he seethes at the coffee maker as if it has, personally, wronged him. It’s more that it’s a Tuesday so it’s mediocre by default. It’s a day stuck in the frustrating valley between signing his V-League contract and getting to play. The weather is viciously humid, the heat unrepentant, the tar gluing the streets of Sendai together sticks to the soles of his shoes if he’s not careful to avoid it.
Oh, and that pesky thing where it won’t stop being August 7th.
