Summary
Coco understood at a young age that wealth defined a life, and those without it could only ever afford cruelty. Wealth, to Coco, is a foreign word, health is a blessing many are not privy to.
So when her muddied feet stood in castle walls, she could only shudder under Agott Arklaum’s gaze, now ripped from all she once knew.
Family and the home that came along with it was such a fickle, fleeting thing.a witch hat atelier royalty au

Summary
What if the stars from the origin myth were actual people, the keepers of magic, and why they tried to give to world they only ended up cursing it? So, they withdrew from the world, leaving it in its semi-broken state. But what if one of those stars fell, unsatisfied in the role placed upon them?
In an alternate universe where the rules of magic are a little different and calamity has stolen away most of the witches of the world, Coco doesn't discover forbidden magic when she is young. She continues to grow and work along side her mother, keeping the secret of the magic spring that brings them fortune. When she discovers a unconscious body in those magic waters her life is set on a trajectory even the stars could not have foretold. Coco might just change magic and the world forever, but can she do it before she loses the withdrawn stranger who has grown so dear to her heart and showed her wonders without compare? Or is to love something a practice in sacrifice?

Summary
She scuffs her feet against the hardwood floors absently and contemplates the 'please knock' sign. Olruggio will certainly not let her in if she knocks, since it’s late and Master Olly is especially exasperated about Agott’s tendency to all-nighters, but Agott needs this mentorship now. It’s probably best to invite herself in.
Probably. Worst case scenario, Olruggio is in the middle of something very important and bothering him topples the whole tower down and Professor Qifrey decides it’s vital that Agott be lectured about respecting space and private time. As if Agott doesn’t understand the concept! Just, sometimes things are emergencies.
Sometimes, one's lover's student needs someone to explain love to her, and that can't wait until after a deadline.

Summary
“Shut up- shut up!” Agott yells over the screams of the other girl.
Coco screams louder. She tries to run away, but her foot magically tripped on air, causing her to fall down. Agott gripped on the collar of her dog a little tighter.
“What- are you fucking high?!”
Then she looks at Coco's bare feet.
“Oh. You are.”
