Summary
He's leading their shared limb again, sketching out the constellation from the consortium of stars. When she doesn’t see it, he tells her to narrow her eyes, moves their hand anew over the shape. When she sees it, he smiles a wide smile — one that’s almost all shining eyes — and presses a kiss flush to her right cheekbone. “That’s you.”

Summary
It’s on nights like these that she feels particularly alone. The vacant space opposite her seems hollower than usual and the ghost of his hand on the small of her back seems to taunt her more than haunt her. She brings the lighter to the stack of postcards in her left hand, watching the little golden flame as it jumps up and down. She imagines blue becoming black, paper turning to ash, pain dissipating.
