Summary
After leaving home for the first time to compete in a cooking show, Charlotte Pudding is determined to make her mark. More than that, she’s resolved to sweep the competition to win the grand-prize of her own restaurant, with her own menu, to build wherever she wishes. Hailing from a large family of esteemed chefs and pâtissiers, she’s confident her skills will blow the judges away, breezing all the way to victory.
That is until she meets a certain blonde-haired, curly-browed, overly-flirtatious chef with a penchant for cigarettes and wicked smile. Sanji doesn’t have a respectable pedigree like herself, and his main source of culinary experience was on a rickety ocean-going restaurant under the tutelage of an infamous (gasp) pirate! Defeating him should be a piece of cake, she thinks, until she witnesses him in the kitchen.
Talent is not always something that can be taught, Pudding begins to learn. With the two advancing through each stage, they realize there is more than meets the eye when it comes to each other.
