    Basically, Zanka is a fox god living on his mountain, and saves a ‘mortal’. That mortal turns out to be Jabber who is actually a Snake demon, or a Naga.

    Ummmm... Story line is roughly based in ancient Japan, though its not super relevant to the story.

    Their dialog is slightly off, as I was trying to go for a like god vibe?? Also a little but formal since it's like back in the old days. I tried keeping their personalities in though.

    Fun fact! Spring is often a time for snakes breeding seasons!!

    Jabber’s ears pricked, his attention caught immediately. Perhaps this would be the time Zanka would finally beat him senseless. He was getting closer every time. 

    Just thinking about it made him bite his lip again, stifling the excited groan that threatened to escape. Fighting Zanka was just what he needed. 

    “...nka’s in critical condition…”

    Jabber’s attention snapped back to Cthoni in a heartbeat. “Hold up, backtrack. Who is in critical condition?”

    Cthoni sighed, not even attempting to hide her irritation. “Listen to me the first time I tell you, brat."

    Or: the one in which Zanka doesn't want to be in an arranged marriage, and ends up spilling the beans to Jabber during a fight. Jabber suggests eloping.
