“You’ll find your forever, Tae.”
The words made Taehyung’s stomach twist in knots because of how distant they sounded. “I don’t think I want it anymore,” he admitted, a smile spreading on his lips for a few seconds before he resumed eating.
“Falling in love is not scary.” The tone Yoongi had used was affectionate enough to make the other’s brown eyes sting with tears once again.
“Have you seen my face?” Taehyung chuckled wetly. “This is what falling in love looks like,” he continued as he pointed towards the half of his face that was still bruised. “It’s either broken bones or a broken heart for me. I think I’m done with looking for forever.”
OR
A moment of honest vulnerability sends everything spiralling once again, forcing Yoongi and Taehyung to take a step back and reflect on the feelings they've been denying all along.
