Summary
Lingering touches, the way the vampire paused just a moment too long at the artery pumping divine blood through Doorman's neck. There was an obvious hunger, a hollow aching pain that grew stronger in Drifter's gut every day, and one that was insatiable from the disappointment that ran through the veins of alleyway filth and lesser creatures.
And so the blood continued to call to him, a never ending siren song that twisted his hunger further into an insatiable rut

Summary
The neon lights of the Baronesses hotel, a beacon to those seeking respite from the cold, flickered just outside the window of her least luxurious room. The sounds that had filled the space only moments before, raw and primal noises of hunger and desire, had faded into silence bar the rhythmic flow of heavy breathing.
Normally this part of the evening would be exactly when the two men parted ways.
But tonight something was different.
Neither moved, and either spoke.

“Divine blood is a rare treat. Can't waste the opportunity to indulge while I'm in town.”
“Yet you've clearly already gorged yourself.” Doorman practically spat, trying to shift from underneath the other man only to find his strength too much for even his own broad frame. “You don't need my blood, you've fed enough.”
“Well ‘haps you're a pallet cleanser, wash away the taste o’ alleyway filth. Maybe you're the grand finale, or maybe, just maybe” he smirked, digging his claws deeper into Doorman's shoulder and feeling warm blood pool around each incision “ya nothin’ more than another quivering meal

Summary
In the long time Drifter had known the Doorman, there were a few things he knew the god wouldn't do.
One, Doorman wouldn't come to him willingly.
Two, the god wouldn't engage in unnecessary physical contact with him.
So when Doorman appeared at his hotel room without reason, Drifter was already mildly on edge.

Summary
“Was just hopin’ you still did room service. Main reason ah came to pay a visit was the food.” Drifter grinned, getting uncomfortably close to the man in front of him “‘Been too long since I tasted the blood of a god.”
“And it hasn't been long enough since I've had to avoid your stench. You smell like a box of rusty nails.” Doorman clipped back, unbothered by the looming vampire who's lifeless breath was now tickling his neck.
