Summary
The realization was a slow crash but the accident was anything but.
It feels like a melancholic dream, and Taehyung almost convinces himself to close his eyes in a final attempt at denial and command his mind to leap into another landscape before Namjoon comes to his side and offers him an awkward hug out of nowhere. It is warm but weighted, and Taehyung finds himself blinking a little blankly when he pulls back.
It is a lot to take in at once. He is dead and welcomed into the afterlife, greeted with different surprises every step of the way.
