Prompt One: This time, Professor Lupin doesn't get a chance to intervene, but instead of the Dementors or even Lord Voldemort, the Boggart turned into the one thing Harry Potter thought he wouldn't have to worry about at Hogwarts: Uncle Vernon.

The cabinet doors slowly creak open, and Remus watches as the color drains from Harry’s face. The Defense professor is suddenly assaulted with the inexplicable conviction that he has just made a horrible misstep.
Harry's boggart isn’t Lord Voldemort or a Dementor. It is something far, far worse.

Professor Lupin was watching closely, standing near Harry, ready to intervene if necessary. The lesson had been going smoothly until now, with students successfully confronting their greatest fears in the form of Boggarts.
The Boggart shifted, swirling into shape before solidifying into a figure that made Harry’s blood run cold.
It wasn’t Voldemort.
Instead, standing in front of Harry, in all his dark glory, was Tom Riddle.
