Art adjusts his eyes to read the post she’s showing him on her phone, it’s from Patrick’s account.
“When did you speak to him?” Art asks slowly, wondering if he’s blacked out for a whole lot of important information, “and since when are we throwing a fundraiser?”
“I didn’t, and we’re not,” Tashi glares, waiting for him to get it.
“Oh, that asshole,” it finally clicks.

Summary
When Cas became a human, Dean turned him away; first to protect Sam, then to keep Cas out of the world-ending mess that followed the Winchesters around, then because he was too ashamed to make things right. But Sam’s settled down with Eileen, the world looks like it won’t be ending any time soon, and Dean’s running out of excuses.
Cas isn’t happy to see him, but he reluctantly agrees to work together to get to the bottom of some strange deaths happening in his new hometown. Dean’s willing to do anything to apologize and see if he has a chance at fixing what broke between them all those years ago.

Summary
They’ve been home for a few days, and despite his decision to cut the crap, and his assertion that life is too short, Dean has no idea what the hell he’s supposed to do next. Apparently earth-shattering revelations on a routine salt-and-burn are not, in fact, cure-alls for a lifetime of emotional dysfunction. Go figure.
