Other times, like tonight, Atsushi is wide awake when Akutagawa walks back into the bedroom, eyes reflecting the moonlight streaming in from the rain-streaked window. In this light, his eyes almost look like how they do in his tiger form, a beacon in the darkness. When Atsushi catches sight of Akutagawa, his expression changes, softens. There’s something appraising in the look. Inviting.
