Summary
This collection is a set of interconnected but independent stories, all set in the same "canon" universe that was agreed upon by the authors. Rosters, game results, key moments in the games and character interactions are all the same throughout each story. All the stories are standalones, so you don't need to read all of them, but we do think it's more fun that way!
Hockey actually is all around...
“Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the Beijing Olympics. General opinion started to make out that we live in a world of homophobia and Gary fucking Bettman keeping some of the best players from attending, but I don't see that. Seems to me that hockey is everywhere. Often it's not particularly dignified or glamorous but it's always there. It's there at the Olympics most of all. Brothers playing together, teammates on opposite sides and enemies suddenly playing on the same line. If you look for it, I've got a sneaky feeling, you'll find that hockey actually is all around.” - Wayne Gretzky -Michael Scott
Remember how excited we were about NHL players at the Olympics? Yeah... This fest is about that.
