Summary
You were but a depiction of an emerald, barren of details that could call you anything but an illusion brought forth by his gift. Bruno knew it wasn’t you, but he couldn’t help but fight the needles that pricked his eyes and the wind that whipped his back and try to hold the image of you; his life, his everything.
With hair disheveled, a gun on your hand, with a bolo to your chest, you opened your mouth to cry out;
“Bruno!”
And then he woke up.

As the daughter of the town’s watchman, you’ve always been fixated on the outside world. Bruno has supported you with this dream ever since you were five. However, your brash decisions might have caused your own downfall when you have come to hate the idea of ever exploring the outside world. The cost? A promise you made with Bruno and your father’s arm.
Or, in which you and Bruno are childhood friends, fall in love, get married, have kids, Bruno foresees the impending doom of the Encanto, and it is your duty to protect the town from war.
With the leering threat that seemed to come in the form of resilient pursuers from Alma’s old village… you could only hope for a miracle.
