The pyro vision holder smiles at his excitement, but presses on. “That’s great, but how did you know I would be here? Where are we?”
“Dreams,” the dog-like boy says like it’s obvious. “And Wolfy,” he says awkwardly, testing out the Bennett-given name, “just knew you would show up here some time, like instinct.”
Bennett’s curiosity isn’t satiated, but he asks, “Well, how long have you been waiting?”
The boy is about to respond, until the scene in front of Bennett begins to fade away, the perfect sunset and fresh air around him slowly pulling apart and his new friend gives him a sad look. “You’re waking up.”
“What?” Bennett asks. This is feeling less and less like a figment of my imagination, he thinks to himself.
The hooded boy waves goodbye to Bennett, yelling one last, “Come back soon!”

Or, the time when Bennett's multi-year streak of never having dreams is broken by a boy he had never met, sleep occupied by his new friend until morning time when he remembers nothing of the night before.
