    Isa shivers at the tone of his voice, silently cursing herself for showing such vulnerability. “Fuck you.”

    Miguel huffs out a laugh. The quiet exhale would have been barely audible if he wasn’t centimeters from her ear. “Oh, I’ll get to that later. Don’t worry, Princess.” His voice shifted, a seductive tone replacing the cruel one. His lips graze over the shell of her ear and she shudders in response.

    “Are you nervous?”
