  Summary

  The events of Halloween night unfold differently and lead Harry to be raised by the Longbottoms against the machinations of both allies and foes. Growing up with the adoration of Wizarding Britain makes Harry a different sort of hero, not quite the second coming of James Potter nor the most mature and omnipotent wizard in the world.

  This story covers pre-Hogwarts years through Second Year, and will be followed by two sequels "Tyrant's Resolve" (Third Year-Sixth Year) and "Tyrant's Elegy" (Seventh Year-Post-Hogwarts).
