You take a shuddering breath in and wonder, not for the first time, if Shenhe understands just what she's capable of reducing you to. A pathetic, blubbering mess of inferiority as she incidentally runs her fingers over the back of your hand. It's a simple gesture, one done without much thought, but it renders you speechless nonetheless.
"I know you're still getting used to being in Liyue," You breathe out, "So I thought we could go to Lingju pass together. I heard there have been a lot of Abyss Mages there recently."
She hums pleasantly, "I would like that."
"Ah, good," You quickly hand her a flower you've kept tucked behind your back, "This is also for you."
Let it be known that you at least had some awareness when it came to choosing what to do on a date.
