    “What…?” Percy muttered, staring blankly at the person in front of him. Her curly blond hair fell loosely around her face, her gray eyes bright against her tan skin. The girl smiled nervously and Percy thought his heart would beat out of his chest. They stood frozen for a moment, taking in each other’s presence. Percy’s stomach flipped and the two of them stepped forward at the same moment. He wrapped up the smaller girl tightly, grasping at her sweater, trying to pull her in closer. Percy breathed in her scent of lemons and vanilla, burying his face in the girl's neck.
