    Summary

In The Tempest, Shakespeare writes: “The past is prologue.”
Alex really does not know the relevant context of this quotation within the play itself, but that is the first thing he thinks of as he looks up from the silver film of the stagnant coffee in his cup and sees a familiar man slouched over a pocket-sized book, that man being his former closest friend and the proclaimed love of his life and current estranged stranger.
Maybe the past really is the prologue to whatever is about to happen as Alex grabs his cup off of the table and languidly saunters over to where Henry is sitting, perusing the booklet for Talk Fahrenheit’s latest record – A Bored King’s Advice Column – with a quizzical brow and a cup of coffee and a book of Frank O’Hara’s poetry and says, “Yeah, I like their older stuff better, too.”
