If I were to choose to spend the rest of my life with a woman, I don’t think my mom would be as happy for me.
But the words don’t come out of Megan’s mouth. No, instead, she keeps them inside, chained up and behind a lock in her heart, where the key is somewhere in her throat. She doesn’t even dare to think about muttering them to Yoonchae. It eats her alive, it’s a thought that can send her to tears within a few seconds, and Megan thinks she’s just too overly sensitive because of that. There’s always a chance that she’s just too paranoid, or maybe she’s right.
