One day, when Jon entered the cafe where he’d wait for Sansa there, the waiter, Pod, offered him a smile from behind the counter and asked, “The usual?” he nodded before Pod continued, “And for the girlfriend?”
“Girlfriend?”
“The redhead, usually she was also waiting for you here,”
“Oh, um,” the bell jingled before he answered Pod, and Sansa’s voice interrupted him.
“Jon!” she beamed at him. He couldn’t help but chuckled and grinned at her.
“Thought you still have classes,”
“No, my last class just ended a few minutes ago. I went straight here. Thought you still at your workplace,”
He laughed, “I’m here.”
“Have you ordered?”
He nodded, “Just about to order something for you, but I don’t know, um,” he turned his eyes from her.
But she patted his arm, and her hand stayed there, “It’s alright,” she said. She turned to Pod and ordered her usual.
When they turned their heels, Jon heard Pod talking to his friend, “The usual for the couple.”
He smiled.
