What a silly child. Hornet takes neither a step forward, nor one backward. She only looks at Lace. She already knows what decision she is going to make. The fear of actually going back into that blackness is written all over her face, rattling through her body. She doesn’t look like a being ready to dive down.
She is not Hornet, after all.

“The ground shook beneath his feet with every stride the wicked animals took, the dry heat of the night hitting him, the wet barking of the horrid beasts filled his thoughts. His senses felt bombarded, adrenaline exploding within his bones. Fear. Fear kept him going now.
He called for anyone, his sensei, his mom, his uncles-
Something sharp latched onto his ankle, and Casey was yanked to the ground. He screamed, the dogs throwing him across the dirt. He tumbled into debris, and the jaws reached him again, growling monsters shaking him. Casey grappled at the concrete, snagging a piece, he bashed it against the dogs face. It yelped, letting go as it bumped into another dog.
The two dogs growled and bit at each other, but soon they cornered Casey, slobbering. Their large teeth glistened with blood, sharp eyes glaring down, humoring his misery.
He wailed, and the dogs shrieked and barked. The leader leaped at him, and Casey screwed his eyes shut.
But the attack never came.”
…Casey Jr sneaks out of the hideout, trying to be brave. However, being brave isn’t easy when you’re only 5, and are being attacked by bloodthirsty Kraang dogs.
