Eight-year-old Yerim loves her life. She loves her school, her best friend Hyeju, her little sister Youngeun (sometimes), and her two moms Jinsol and Jungeun.
Yerim especially loves to learn. She collects new words like most children collect toys or stuffed animals. Yerim is a bit of a logophile, a word which here means “a lover of words.”
When Yerim learns of Hyeju’s parents’ “divorce,” Yerim starts examining her own parents’ marriage and sees it for what it is: flawed in some ways, but still, undeniably, unbreakable.
