Summary
The bookstore at the corner of 14th and Fen is known for many things. It’s known, firstly, for the books, which makes a certain amount of sense for a bookstore, if you think about it. The place is positively crammed with books, from floor to ceiling, filling shelves and sitting in neat piles in all the nooks and crannies. Books, books, books: books so old they’re practically falling apart, with dog-eared pages and notes scribbled in the margins, and books that are brand new, the covers shiny, the paper white, and the spines barely creased. There are so many books filling the shelves of the Corner Bookstore that the entire place smells of paper and ink, of stories, the way a bookstore should.
This is a story about an introverted bookstore owner meeting the artist who works at the flower shop across the street (and his magician daughter). This is a story about books, plants, awkward conversations and quiet friendships, a story about a stray cat, finding your people, and slowly, slowly, falling in love.

Summary
Phoenix harbours no illusions that getting his badge back is going to be an easy task, even if the hardest part of clearing his name is technically over. He's fully aware that his reinstatement is going to be a bit more complicated than just passing the bar and is going to be more of a case of:
Step 1: Save money to retake bar exam
Step 2: Study frantically to pass said bar exam
Step 3: Pass bar exam
Step 4: Hope and pray that he'll somehow be able to still pull in clients after his reputation got burned to the ground
Step 5: Haircut
Step 6: New suit
Step 7: Finally, finally confess his passionate love for Edgeworth that has been eating him up inside for the past 25 years
Step 8: ???? Lawyer???Thankfully he has a pretty solid support network of people willing to help him out. And if Edgeworth has anything to say about it, they'll probably be able to cut out a few of those steps along the way.
Which is why Phoenix promises himself one thing. If he passes the bar again, he is absolutely going to kiss the Chief Prosecutor square on the lips. Whatever happens after that, they'll just have to wait and see.

Summary
He could always see them, even as a child, though the first he’d truly seen was his mother. Before her, they were only wisps of light or shifting shadows, vague suggestions of something else in the room that only Phoenix could see, and couldn’t understand. The lights would flicker, the temperature would drop to freezing, or he’d feel something at his back that wasn’t quite the wind. He didn’t talk about it much, since no one else seemed to notice. The one time he had brought it up, his father chalked it up to the age of their house and the unreliability of the electricity.
Phoenix, as a child, could almost believe that theory if lights didn’t flicker in places that weren’t his house, or if he didn't walk through cold spots on hot summer days.--
Phoenix is an artist, struggling to heal after the death of a close friend. When his best friend, Maya, brings him to a quiet house in the countryside to spark some inspiration, he finds the house isn't as quiet as it seems, and a ghost of his past may be walking the halls.
