Conrad knows their moms are downstairs now, making black eyed peas like his mom does every New Year’s Day. He knows that Steven and Jeremiah are three rooms over playing video games. He knows his condoms are down the hall in his bedroom and that there’s no way he can make it there and back completely undetected. He knows they’ve only done this twice before—and does it even count as twice if it was all on the same night?—and that this isn’t how he wanted their next time to go. At the very least, he hoped he could get her to a bed. But oh, does he want her again.
