Mike must've made a face because he found that the man's smile had widened just a tad, a blink and you'll miss it gesture. He then seemed to lean forward, cupping his hands together to rest his chin on top of them, as if he was analyzing Mike in that moment. "Though, if you're here, I can also imagine that you've found yourself in a situation, one that's left you here before me."

A small figure ran, chasing as if his life depended on it, chasing and chasing as he watched him trip over the sticks that seemed to endlessly poke out of the ground. Despite the obstacles, the boy continued to run, only stopping when a rock seemed to clip under his feet to plant to boy face down onto the ground.

With the past week of mini temper tantrums and innocent threats thrown his way if William dared try to touch him, it was hard not to see that the younger had been anything but furious. It was hardly a revelation, especially with how the boy would swing between his emotions, William could almost say that it was rather adorable.
