Izuku has always been a timid boy, always been jumpy, always been an observer, always been the compassionate hand on someone’s aching shoulder.
Always the late bloomer too, emphasis on the bloomer.
Spider lilies were his childhood, the reminder of the hate that he was born surrounded by always there to kick him even when he was already down. In fact, Izuku has gotten so many of these cruel flowers that he practically became one himself, limp in the wind with a downer undertone; so, the kid adapted.
He has collected a fair share of bloomers, spider lilies and human lilies; petals who were just like him.
They knew the real him, the loud and brash and free him, the him that people at UA will never understand…at least that's what he thinks.

At UA he’s a sweet student who goes plus ultra at every chance he gets, lifting his classmates up with every breathe.
