Summary
Izuku thinks that he has spent far too much of his life on rooftops. Tonight, on this one, something has changed.
He has spent too much of his life on rooftops, and he has spent too much of his life angry. There is no one out there who would deny his intelligence - yet there is a rage, so pure and deep, that has led him to make some very questionable choices. Maybe it was born when he was diagnosed. Or when his father left.
It doesn't much matter when he started to feel it, because it has been with him for as long as he can remember. It was present with him on every rooftop. The setting would change, a new city or time of day, but his fury would remain.
There is a palpable tension in the air as the man raises his gun. The tension does not come from anger. No - for the first time in a while, Izuku is not mad.
