Summary
A year and a half since the accident that claimed his parents and fiancée, and only months after nearly ruining his career, Henry is given a final chance to salvage his life as a professional baseball player. Hope blooms with the arrival of spring, and Henry finally reaches for the light at the end of the tunnel. This contract may be the fresh start he's needed.
Having fought tooth and nail just to get where he is—and only wanting to play the game he loves—Hans believes his actions that day on the mound were justified. His career is a ticking clock and any set back is a step closer to a retirement he so desperately fights against. This demotion may be the end of him.

Summary
"You fluster me constantly," Hans murmured softly, "Fuck Henry, the way you look at me sometimes. I'm tried of pretending I don't see it. " Henry shivered as Hans nosed his way up his jawline, "Denying to myself what it does to me."
All of the blood in Henry's face went south, distressingly fast, and so did his knees when he realized that down was the only route of escape from between Hans' arms.
Henry is dragged by his lord on a midnight hunt in search of a legendary quarry.
It doesn't go well, and after being separated Henry finds Hans drinking from a mysterious phial he doesn't remember purchasing.
