Summary
When the light falls upon Kim Dokja, he snarls at Lee Seolhwa and Yoo Joonghyuk. Four wings hover low over his shoulders, something desperate in the way Kim Dokja uses them to press the trembling children to his chest. The whites of his eyes are dyed black, pupils encased by a golden ring.
The omega bares his teeth. Blood drips from his canines.
Something churns in Yoo Joonghyuk’s stomach.
Kim Dokja’s irregular heat strikes during the apocalypse. Without a companion to help him, Kim Dokja channels it out through indiscriminate carnage.
(The dokkaebi ought to think twice before laying a hand on his kids.)

Summary
Kim Dokja had never imagined a day when Yoo Joonghyuk would not only forget his existence but also come to despise him. It seemed that, in Yoo Joonghyuk’s eyes, Kim Dokja was nothing more than a fleeting, insignificant presence—easily replaced and utterly unworthy. The person who had always held the most importance in Yoo Joonghyuk's heart was Lee Seolhwa, the one he cherished and remembered, while Kim Dokja faded into oblivion.
But here’s the cruel truth—
Fate never forgets. No matter how far you run or how skillfully you try to forget it, it will always find its way back to put you back where you truly belong, dragging you to return to the stark reality you can never escape.

Summary
“I know when you are going to die,” Dokja said, “Not just yours, in fact it is everyone’s big day I can see.”
The bathroom was dull and his own eyes deranged him from the other side of the mirror. Geez, how morbid. It took Kim Dokja twelve years to realize that Yoo Joonghyuk could never be his. Years passed but he felt himself stuck in a winter with no heater. So, when his beloved city was at the threshold of spring, 2018 and the green leaves unfurled their gentle fists, Kim Dokja felt a terrible pool of realization dissolve in his stomach.
The once-blinding streets of April had started its metamorphosis. The lush of color that kissed the sky made Dokja somewhat envious.
A call rang through the air. He quietly sipped his coffee.
“Aren’t you going to pick it up?” Jang Hayoung, the waitress, said.
“No. I want to cut all ties and start anew.”
“Whatever sails your boat, sir.”
Kim Dokja smiled. This spring he would surely move to a warm home where the landlady would help him out when his heater would break in winter.

Fate decides to prove him very, very wrong.
