Summary
Kageyama Tobio is the kind of kid who smiles even when he’s falling apart. To his teammates at Kitagawa Daiichi, he seems upbeat, driven—maybe a little intense, but harmless. But in reality, Kageyama is far from the bubbly and joyous kid his teammates know him as; as he struggles to escape his abusive household, and holds on to hope that at least his soulmates will love him.
But when Kageyama learns that his soulmates the two people that despise him, his life takes a turn for the worse. With abuse, the death of his beloved grandfather, and the rejection from his soulmates, Kageyama pours his life into volleyball.
Then, during a practice match, Oikawa and Iwaizumi show up again—asking for a second chance.
Now Tobio has to decide: can he forgive the people who hurt him the most, or will he finally choose himself and leave the past behind?
