Theme: post-Season 7, at Carina DeLuca-Bishop's private women's health clinic.
Rookie firefighter Eleanor "Ellie" Cruz thought pushing through the pain was just part of the job until she collapses mid-shift, right into Captain Maya DeLuca-Bishop's arms. Her usual excuse of "just bad periods" doesn't cut it anymore, and Maya isn't about to let her suffer in silence.
What follows is an emergency trip to Carina's clinic, where Eleanor's symptoms unravel into one of the worst cases of endometriosis Carina has ever seen. As Eleanor faces a long and emotional road to recovery, Maya and Carina step in, refusing to let her go through it alone.
What begins as a terrifying medical emergency becomes a turning point in Eleanor's life, not only freeing her from a decade of unbearable pain, but also leading her to a place of belonging she never thought she'd find.
